Lindsay Rice
As a teenager, Lindsay Rice traveled around the country following the Grateful Dead and integrated the music and Deadhead culture into her life. She studied creative writing at the University of Iowa. A Kansas City native, she was the president of Whispering Prairie Press, which publishes two Kansas City literary and art magazines. She is an academic and creative writing tutor and worked for a nonprofit adult education program. Lindsay lives in the Colorado mountains. Birdenwheel is her debut novel.
